Vishnevsky Balsamic Liniment is a traditional topical medicinal preparation intended for external use on the skin. Its active components, birch tar and bismuth tribromophenate (xeroform), provide local antiseptic activity and are traditionally used in the treatment of wounds and other superficial skin conditions. Typical Vishnevsky liniment formulations contain 30 mg of each active substance per gram.
