Lugol with Glycerin Spray ElaDum is a buccopharyngeal and topical antiseptic solution containing iodine and potassium iodide in a glycerin base. It is intended for local application to the mouth/throat area and skin in situations where antiseptic treatment is required. - Iodine – 0.25 g
- Potassium iodide – 0.5 g

Uses:
The manufacturer lists the product for inflammatory disorders of the ENT organs, including use after tonsil removal, as well as for skin infections, trauma, wounds, trophic and varicose ulcers, and infected burns.
Directions for Use:
According to ElaDum’s instructions, the affected oropharyngeal mucosa or skin is treated with the preparation 4–5 times daily. The duration of treatment depends on the condition and its progression.
Warnings:
- Do not use in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to iodine
- Use with caution in laryngitis because of the possibility of laryngospasm
- Avoid contact with the eyes
- Prolonged use may cause symptoms associated with excessive iodine exposure, such as rhinitis, urticaria-type skin eruptions, tearing or increased salivation
- The manufacturer advises testing sensitivity to iodine before use
- Possible undesirable effects include skin irritation and allergic reactions
