Active Ingredients:
Linex capsules contain freeze-dried cultures of:

- Bifidobacterium infantis
- Enterococcus faecium
The traditional 16-capsule formulation provides approximately 1.2 × 10⁷ colony-forming units (CFU) of live bacteria per capsule.
Other Ingredients:
Depending on the market formulation, excipients may include lactose, dextrin, potato starch, magnesium stearate, gelatin and capsule colouring agents. Patients with lactose intolerance or sensitivity to any excipient should check the leaflet supplied with their specific pack.
Uses:
Linex is used to help prevent or relieve symptoms associated with disruption of the intestinal microflora, including diarrhoea, abdominal bloating and other digestive discomfort. Probiotic bacteria help support the normal microbial environment of the digestive tract.
Important:
- Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient.
- Do not take the capsule with very hot drinks, as heat can reduce the viability of the probiotic bacteria.
- If taking antibiotics, follow the leaflet regarding spacing Linex from the antibiotic dose.
- Seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea, fever, blood or mucus in the stool, or signs of dehydration.
- Keep out of reach of children.
